Jacob started as an entrepreneur at the age of seventeen and organized events all over the world. After that, he spent years working in the nonprofit sector in Lebanon and Palestine, and worked in the United States on Bernie Sanders’ campaign. Now he is choosing civil society, to make a direct impact.
He knows what change feels like from the inside, because he personally guided the merger of two political organizations. He sees what is going on, says what needs to be said, and makes sure a decision is made. Quickly, but never by steamrolling people.
Whether it’s a merger, a new strategy, or a team that is stuck: Jacob creates momentum. Where do we want to go? Who do we need for that? And what will we do tomorrow?
Jacob is the founding father of S&L in the Netherlands. Together with Lotte, he is building S&L in the Netherlands.
