Culture, politics, mobility: Koen’s career says “I don’t like to choose.” And yet there is a very clear thread running through it. Because Koen is the type who prefers to walk into an organization when chaos reigns. He analyzes, untangles, and then brings everyone back together around a common goal. 

If he gets to choose, he works for organizations that want to make the world a better place. But even if profit is not a goal in itself, Koen is not afraid of money and spreadsheets. On the contrary. If there is stress or mystery surrounding the figures or the way things work, then one thing is certain: Koen has not been there yet.

And all that analyzing and organizing, he does neatly within the 38-hour workweek. Because the hours that remain are reserved for things that cannot be optimized. At the top of the list: his wife, four children, and a caravan in a bend of the Semois. Who could blame him?
